I had the pleasure to work with Alessandra Lopez again and it will definitely not be the last time. If I have not mentioned this before then I will now. She is an old friend from college trying to break into the travel blogging industry so I thought I would help her out with some photos to increase her crowd base. The photo you see above is one of those photos.
I took that photo along with the others on my Sony A6500 with an external high-speed sync flash. Additionally, I did use a 26" softbox to diffuse the light over the subject. That is why the light is close to perfect but not. If I had used a dual light setup, a strobe with an external high-speed sync flash, then there would have been no shadow issues and these photos would be perfect. Don't worry, I will be buying a strobe in the future but for now, I must master the setup I have in my bag.
As you can see, I was trying to create a magazine quality cover photo and I think I almost to my goal. However, I will need more practice before I can confidently say that I can do portrait photography and charge for that service, which will be reasonably priced. I say that because I believe everyone has the right to have amazing photos and not be charged a ridiculous price for them.
Well enough of me rambling, go check out the photos. You can do that by clicking on the photo above.
